What are the dimensions of the sod rolls?

Our standard rolls measure 24” x 60” (10 sq. ft.). Upon request, rolls are also available in a 18” x 80” format (10 sq. ft.). One pallet covers 600 sq. ft.(55.7 m²), and the approximate weight of a roll is +/- 40.45 lbs.

What are the dimensions of the big sod rolls?
Our big rolls measure 42” wide by 77” long, covering 270 sq. ft. The approximate weight of a big roll is +/- 1,500 lbs.

Why is it important to check the general condition of the site before installing sod?

Giving the lawn an adequate slope before installing sod allows water to drain properly and prevents puddles of standing water. This also helps avoid mold, fungus growth, and other moisture-related issues.

Why is it recommended to spread topsoil before installing sod?

Adding a layer of topsoil before laying new sod helps improve soil quality and promotes healthy grass growth. It can fill holes and uneven areas, enhance the soil’s ability to retain water and nutrients, and encourage deep root development.

Why is it best to avoid using black soil, except on sandy ground?
